5 PREP DAYS
The aim of the first five days of your cleanse is to help you ease into healthy eating. During this time you will set intentions and begin new routines in your diet, exercise and mindset. You’ll be eating salads and soups plus juicing while your body begins to release toxins and prepare for the juicing days ahead. Don’t worry everything is laid out for you in this cleanse. All you have to do is purchase your food ingredients and prepare the meals. Joyful living is the goal.
5 CLEANSE DAYS
The next five days are your ‘juice only’ days. By not eating solid foods you are giving your digestive system more energy to heal itself so you can feel better quickly. Many people witness big shifts in their mindset around food during these days. But if ‘juice only’ isn’t right for you at this time, it’s okay. I offer you an alternative to drink juice during the day and still eat a healthy meal in the evening.
5 POST CLEANSE DAYS
For the last five day before you jump back into eating solid foods again you will enjoy yummy smoothies and healthy treats. At this phase in the cleanse you’ll be feeling great and probably very inspired to continue on this healthy journey. While this cleanse is not specifically a weight loss program, many people lose between 2 – 7 pounds. The key of course is to follow a routine including a healthy diet and exercise even after your cleanse has ended.
WHAT SIDE EFFECTS WILL I EXPERIENCE?
As your body adjusts to eating and drinking fresh foods it may release built up toxins resulting in minor symptoms for some people. Such symptoms may include tiredness, acne or headache. These should subside quickly however and some people experience no noticeable side effects at all.
